Jack and Daniel IMHO are two of the most awesome characters ever created in Science Fiction or any other genre. Much as I would love to have them safely stashed in my basement for my own pleasure, sadly that is not to be. I just borrow them for my nefarious purposes.

My take on their sexuality and relationship are in no way a reflection of my opinion of the actors - Richard Dean Anderson and Michael Shanks, the two actors who brought these characters to life so beautifully.

Although this site is dedicated primarily to Jack and Daniel and their relationship, my first love is Daniel Jackson and my favourite actor Michael Shanks.

I fell in love with Stargate SG-1 and found I'd been slashing Jack and Daniel before I realised that's what I'd been doing. I abhor the imaginary 'ship' between Sam'n'Sir that TPTB tried to foist upon us. I was heartbroken at the way TPTB attempted to deconstruct Jack and Daniel's friendship to facilitate this non relationship, and I resent what TPTB did to the character of Sam Carter.Whilst I have nothing against her per se. Some of my future fics may contain an element of 'Sam Bashing'

This site is therefore not a Sam'n'Sir friendly zone.

I also do not ship Daniel and Vala. although I love the character Vala, and hugely admire Claudia Black. I do however acknowledge that Michael Shanks and Claudia Black to have tremendous on screen chemistry.

I am also a huge Chris Judge/Teal'c fan and hate the way Teal'c gets wallpapered so frequently.

A lot of this site's content will most likely be from the early seasons of SG-1, as these are my favourite times. When Jack and Daniel were actually allowed to appear on screen togther, interact, and hey - even make physical contact - how I miss those days.

If I had my way, SG-1 would have continued for at least another season. Peter De Louise would have been brought back as creative consultant, Jack and Daniel would be allowed loads of on screen time and Jack would be allowed to care for Daniel again, the 'ship' that should never have been launched would have sunk without a trace and Sam once again been the competent officer that I once admired so much, and Vala and Teal'c would have got it on *wink*
